The Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) is set to reward Uganda’s Beach Socer team, the Sand Cranes, with over Shs. 185 million for their performance at this year’s AFCON Beach Soccer tournament in Senegal.
Following FUFA’s allowance and bonus system, Uganda’s 2021 AFCON Beach Soccer team will share close to 186 million Uganda shillings for their exceptional performance at the tournament in Senegal.
Each member of the 24-man Contingent will be entitled to camp allowances for each of the 22 days they spent in camp, appearance fees, match-winning bonuses and for reaching the Semi-finals.
Each of them is expected to receive close to eight mullion Uganda shillings.
The federation says it communicated this to the team before they departed for West Africa where they lost to Mozambique in the semi-final last Friday.
